ACHIEVEMENTS

ACHIEVEMENTS

Since 1905, G7 TAXI SERVICE has been giving Parisian taxi drivers the option of practicing their profession either as independent contractors or under lease agreements. G7 TAXI SERVICE offers:

  • A service garage for taxicab maintenance;

  • A fleet of equipped taxi vehicles giving new taxi drivers the option of starting out under a lease agreement without investing in the required parking permit;

  • A fleet of vehicles available for taxi drivers operating as independent contractors, who hold the required parking permits but prefer to lease their vehicle under a short- or long-term agreement;

  • A training center that has been preparing applicants for the Taxi Driver Certificate of Professional Competence exam for over 20 years.

We at G7 TAXI SERVICE further contributed to the environmental movement by enhancing our fleet with more hybrid and electric vehicles that meet the strictest anti-pollution standards. G7 TAXI SERVICE teamed up with specialized banks to offer attractive financing and help more drivers become entrepreneurs.

OUTLOOK

OUTLOOK

G7 TAXI SERVICE is introducing more hybrid and electric vehicles into its fleet of 1,200 taxis. We are preparing for the switch to the lease management system for drivers operating as lessees by offering our first lease agreements to interested drivers on a voluntary basis. This is our way of staying ahead of this change in social security coverage that will become mandatory on January 1, 2017.

Other goals include developing insurance offerings, dematerializing payments and aiming for operational excellence in our repair and maintenance services to achieve a “zero defect” standard.
